Alessandra Parmeggiani
was born in Venice and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Painting in Venice.
She took part in several painting exhibitions, both collective and personal, in Italy and abroad, curated by various critics (Dino Manzelli, Enrico Buda, Victor Arellano Rey etc.).
She was selected for a collective exhibition in Malaysia in the city of Kuala Lumpur and in the cities of Bangkok, Singapore and Jakarta, and for an Engraving collective exhibition in the city of Cavezzo (Modena) and other painting competitions in Italy.
In 2007, she was chosen for the 2nd Genovarte Biennale D'arte Contemporanea and for the exhibition of the Arte Laguna International Painting Prize in 2006. She has exhibited in several group exhibitions held in various cities in the United States with the Sketchbook Project of the Brooklyn Art Library in New York.
He also participated in a special project for UNICEF and has recently taken an interest in children's book illustration, publishing a book of illustrated nursery rhymes and an interactive fairy tale.
He published a fantasy novel entitled ‘The Mystery of the Galea’ with Casa Editrice El Squero.
In recent years she has been part of the group Connessioni Sonore, playing bass in the dark concert project, ‘La macchina del Tempo’.
Since 2015 she has been curator for the Venezia Open Art Association, organising exhibitions and artistic events in Venice.
